Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and our Responsibility

 

November 16-21, 2008

The American Education Committee is looking for past graduates who:

  • Parents still live in the Hasty/McClave communities.
  • The graduate no longer lives in the area.

 

If you can contact any one that falls in these two categories please send them a “Where are you now?” questionnaire. These can be picked up at the Post Offices in McClave and Hasty or send a contact email address to lora.cline@mcclave.k12.co.us

Monday- 11/17/08- Parents Day grades Preschool-2nd grade are inviting their parents to school to read aloud to small groups and have lunch at the lunchroom.

Wednesday- 11/19/08- Certified Staff is recognized

·         Special Activities and prizes for all grades during lunch.

·         Special Edition of the Cardinal Courier containing information gathered from the “Where are you now?” questionnaire. Special interview from a 4 generation MHS family. This will be added to the December school newsletter for everyone to read.

 

 

 

 

Junior Class Fundraiser

 

This year, the junior class will be selling coupons for Antique pictures. The pictures will be taken by the company Antiquities and are scheduled for the 14th and 15th of November. The cost for you will be a $10 sitting fee, plus the cost of any additional pictures you may want to order. For the $10 you will receive one 10 x 13 photo of your child/children. We realize that this is late notice, so if you are interested in this offer and have not been contacted by a junior class member, please contact either

Mr. Thorn or Mrs. Steerman at the school (829-4517). Your pictures will be in in time for Christmas cards so please come and support our junior class!
